First-Time Setup

When you launch the app, the setup screen appears first. Enter the parent's name and the child's name, then tap "Get Started." No account creation is required.

Choosing a Mode

On the home screen, tap the "Parent" card or the child's name card to switch between modes. The child mode card has a warm pink design to motivate task completion.

Adding Tasks (Parent Mode)

Tap the "Task Management" button on the parent dashboard. You can configure the following:

Completing Tasks (Child Mode)

Tasks appear under "Today's Tasks" in child mode. When a task is done, tap the "Done!" button. Recurring tasks automatically appear on their scheduled days.

Approving Tasks (Parent Mode)

Tasks reported as completed by the child appear under "Pending Approval" in parent mode. Review and tap "Approve" to award points to the child.

Setting Up Rewards (Parent Mode)

Tap the "Reward Management" button in parent mode. Configure the reward name, point cost, category (Snack, Toy, Experience, or Other), and optionally add a photo.

Redeeming Rewards (Child Mode)

Tap the "Go to Shop" button in child mode. Rewards you have enough points for will have an active "Redeem" button. After redeeming, a request is sent to the parent for approval and delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are points calculated?

Points are added when a parent approves a completed task. The current total is displayed at the top of the child mode screen. Redeeming a reward requires having at least the reward's point value in accumulated points.

How do recurring tasks work?

When adding a task, turn on the "Recurring" toggle and select the desired days of the week. The task will automatically appear under "Today's Tasks" on those days. It won't reappear on the same day once completed.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers. Please note that uninstalling the app will delete all data.

Can I register multiple children?

Currently, the app is designed for one child. Support for multiple children is planned for a future update.

Can I cancel a reward exchange request?

Currently, there is no cancellation feature for exchange requests from the child side. However, parents can reject requests from the parent dashboard.

Can I duplicate a task?

Yes. Tap the copy button next to a task in the task list to copy its settings into the form. Review the details and tap "Add" to create the new task.
